Philly's 2012 Trans-Health Conference Begins Today!

The 11th Annual Trans-Health Conference begins today, and runs through Saturday, 2 June, in Philadelphia. Drawing nearly 2,000 participants each year, the Trans-Health Conference is a free conference that offers three full days of workshops and activities focused on the health and well-being of transgender people, their community and their allies. 

Mayor Nutter, who has just opened the Conference this morning, declared today "Transgender Health Awareness Day," in honor of the Conference.
