The VMAs Were Last Night, Do We Care?

The VMAs were last night, do we care? Did we watch? The gays seemed to swoon over Frank Ocean's subdued performance of "Thinkin Bout You," while Taylor Swift reminded us she's almost-a-Kennedy with her Cape Cod inspired ensemble she wore during her rendition "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

There are two performances to call our attention to: Golden Girl and Flying Squirrel Gabby Douglas joined Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj on stage for "Girl on Fire":

And, of course, Pink, who in my opinion is the best "lesbian" songwriter (no one else captures that anger-come-angst better) and one of the best performers out there. Here's "Blow Me/One Last Kiss":

wasn't mtv all up all over obama in the last election.
