Speaking of connections, I don’t feel connected to much. I grew up in what I’d consider the Midwest: Oklahoma. South enough, but not quite, yet each corner hosts a different Baptist church. And I connect with religion much like I connect with Amazon rainforest. I’ve been in a RainForest Cafe before, but as I’m sure you can guess, it’s a facade. That’s about as close to God as I’ve gotten. I may be getting mixed up, but I believe they also have one of those restrooms equipped with a double-sided mirror. The Great Omniscient.
