Keep up people, keep up, if you sneeze you may miss the next hot insta-sensation. This week its a grandma from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Marilyn Hagerty.
Keep up people, keep up, if you sneeze you may miss the next hot insta-sensation. This week its a grandma from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Marilyn Hagerty. Hagerty’s been writing restaurant reviews for the Grand Fork Herald for a few years now. Last week (maybe it was this week, every minute on the internet is like a dog year) Hagerty penned a review about the freshly opened Olive Garden in her home town. It spread faster than you could say “patient zero”.
Don’t try to search for that review because you won’t find it on the first, second, or even third page of google. It’s buried under every Times, Herald, Chronicle and blog site who covered the Marilyn-has-gone-viral-Olive-Garden-review.
She is like the Susan Boyle of culinary critique. Needless to say Hargety was invited to New York City this week, where she dined at Dovetail and had a dog on the street corner outside of the New York Times.
Unfortunately the videos on her site are not embeddable, so click this image and watch them there.
By the way has Ruth Reichl been hired anywhere, I hear she used to write about food too… whatever happened to her?
