When The Mind Unravels
I wanted to create a work where skeins of yarn are unspooling.
And madness seemed the perfect metaphor.

NY Subway Map
I left the needle out at the top because New York will never be finished.

Seven Day Forecast
CIlimate change has been in my mind, so it worked its way into my art. I wanted to show the extremes of our current weather situation in one week – from freezing cold to blistering heat.

Candy Bars
These required very careful sewing.

TV Guide
I’m nostalgic for my youth.

Broken Heart
Needlepoint usually has neat and tidy stitches. I wanted to create a work where the fabric is torn and the yarn frayed.

March 2020
I wanted to show how our lives stopped dramatically two years ago.
