Sacha Yanow’s “The Prince”

Not to be missed!
Sacha Yanow‘s The Prince is in Chicago this weekend, September 6-8th. Unfolding as an episodic parable, The Prince is the story of a lonely prince and her battles with potential, fantasy and connection. The “trilogy of announcements” explores an intimate psychological landscape, culled from personal history, family mythology, and queer/feminist history.

Yanow’s inspirations for The Prince were seminal educational television shows from the 70s and 80s like The Electric Company, the humor of Gilda Radner, and Faerie Tale Theater. Yanow, an accomplished NYC-based performance artist, presented the Prince at New York’s Dixon Place earlier this year. Catch it in Chicago!
