Remember once upon a time when we got to watch Starbuck and Six kick loads and loads of ass across our television screens once a week on Battlestar Galactica? Yeah, me too.
Remember once upon a time when we got to watch Starbuck and Six kick loads and loads of ass across our television screens once a week on Battlestar Galactica? Yeah, me too. Ever so fondly. So what if I told you you could watch Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer talking about their real life, kickass adventures every night on U-Stream for the next couple of days? And that it was all for a good cause to boot?
Well, lezgeeks, it’s happening! Helfer and Sackhoff are riding their motorcycles across the country from LA to New Orleans to raise money and awareness for the gulf coast oil spill disaster as part of their Acting Outlaws project. Not only are they being accompanied by a documentary film crew, but they’re UStreaming live from the road every night live to give fans the lowdown on the adventures of the day.
Yes, Starbuck. The end of BSG was enough to drive us to drink, too.
And they’ve been doing this since last Thursday! Dude. How did I not know about this until this morning?!
In case you live in a cave like me and you missed it, here is their inaugural ride day webcast from the 21st. It features enough laughter, stories of kickass behavior, self-deprecation, friendly ribbing and alcohol to make this “Starbuck is my McDreamy” BSG fan swoon with glee.
You can catch the rest of Sackhoff and Helfer’s archived webcasts as well as the new ones each night through the 30th on the Acting Outlaws UStream channel.
